South superstar Chiranjeevi condemns Mansoor Ali Khan for his distasteful comments about Trisha

Mansoor Ali Khan’s controversial remarks about Trisha Krishnan sparked outrage, and the situation is worsening. Commoners, celebrities, and the National Commission for Women (NCW) have all called for him to apologize, with some even calling for his arrest. Tollywood actor Nithiin was the first to condemn Mansoor Ali Khan’s behaviour, and now Chiranjeevi, another prominent Tollywood figure, has spoken out against the disrespectful remarks.

Taking it to his official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, Chiranjeevi wrote, “I was appalled by the reprehensible comments made by actor Mansoor Ali Khan about Trisha. These comments are not only distasteful but also disgusting, not just for an artiste but for any woman or girl. Such comments must be strongly condemned; they exude perversion. I stand in solidarity with Trisha and every woman who has to endure such horrid remarks.” Check out his tweet below.

In response to the backlash, Leo film actor Mansoor Ali Khan has called a press conference to address the issue. He stated, “Nadigar Sangam made a mistake (by imposing a temporary ban until he apologizes). They didn’t even ask for an explanation when something like this happened. They should have called or sent me a notice requesting an explanation. There should be an investigation. But that did not occur.”

He further added, “I will give Nadigar Sangam four hours to withdraw their statement against me. They advised me to apologize. Do I appear to be someone who will apologize? The media can say whatever they want about me. People recognize me. I have the Tamil people’s support. I will not apologize”

According to the video, Mansoor said it in his native language. “When I found out I was going to be in a film with Trisha, I assumed there would be a bedroom scene.” I imagined myself carrying her to the bedroom, as I had done with other actresses in my previous films. I’ve done a lot of rape scenes in a variety of films, so it’s nothing new to me. But during the Kashmir shoot, these guys didn’t even show Trisha to me.”
