Shakib Al Hasan did not mince his words while calling out his team after the loss to Pakistan. During the post-match interaction, Shakib said “Yes, I thought we lost wickets at the start. We played ordinary shots and lost 4 wickets in 10 overs. We could have done better. The partnership between me and Rahim was good”

Bangladesh opted to bat first after winning the toss on a hot day at Lahore. The decision backfired as the visitors were soon in trouble at 47/4. The veteran stars scored half-centuries to bail Bangladesh out of trouble. Mushfiqur Rahim was the top scorer with 64 as Shakib Al Hasan scored 53.

The Bangladesh captain further speaking at the end of the game said “We have done well with the bat but with the bat, we have been hot and cold. We have to change that. Our seamers bowled well and unfortunately, we did not get the wickets because the pitch was not helpful”

Chasing 194 to win, Pakistan got the runs without breaking a sweat. Imam Ul Haq top scored with 78 off 84 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes.
