Manjrekar further praised the franchise’s acquisition of Avesh Khan via a trade, emphasizing his potential to complement existing pace spearhead, Prasidh Krishna. He also highlighted a crucial area for improvement: their approach to backing young talent. He specifically cited the example of Riyan Parag, who has received substantial support from the franchise despite inconsistent performances. I hope they back Dhruv Jurel because there was something there last season. They need to start trusting other players the way they do with Riyan Parag,” Manjrekar said.
