Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, & Hrithik Roshan to share screen in War 2

The next spy movie War 2 from director Ayan Mukerji may include Salman Khan as Tiger, Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan, and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir. Yes, you have read that right! And it cannot get any bigger than this. It seems the Indian cinema is ready to experience some mega-blockbuster action in the most awaited film of Ayan Mukerji, War 2.

In War 2, some of the greatest spies from the Aditya Chopra-created franchise may be viewed together by fans of the YRF Spy Universe. Ayan Mukerji will put Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan together for the first time in War 2, according to a report by IndiaToday. The portal states that Ayan will start filming for War 2 in October. War 2, in which Hrithik plays the major role, would reportedly also have NTR Jr. and Kiara Advani.

A source stated, “War 2’s Muharat has already taken place. Ayan intends to begin filming the movie this very month. Hrithik Roshan is presently filming for Fighter in Italy, but he will shortly return to start production on War 2. Shooting with NTR Jr. may start in the interim. As the female protagonist for the action thriller, Kiara Advani has also been cast.”

Kabir, played by Hrithik Roshan, would reportedly appear in War 2 with Tiger and Pathaan, played by Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan respectively. The source continued, “The movie is thrilling for a variety of reasons, but it’s also thrilling because Ayan’s directorial will be the first movie in the YRF Spy Universe to pair the three megastars together. War 2 will include the on-screen union of the legendary Tiger, Pathaan, and Kabir.”

War (2019) is followed by War (2019). Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff played the key parts in the Siddharth Anand-directed film, with Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, and Anupriya Goenka filling out the supporting cast. Before Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan (2023) exceeded it, it set every opening day and weekend box office record for a Hindi movie.

The YRF espionage Universe is an Indian shared universe supported by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films and focused on a number of espionage action-thrillers with fictional RAW agents.
