Every day, Salaar and its box office receipts make headlines. Over Rs 600 crores have been made worldwide by the Prabhas and Prashanth Neel films. The film’s earnings from the US and Telugu-speaking belt are at their peak. The reviews for Prabhas, Prashanth Neel, and Shruti Haasan’s films have been conflicting. Additionally, it hasn’t performed well in languages like Kannada, Tamil, or Malayalam. In just 12 days, Salaar has earned Rs 123.5 crores in Hindi. In contrast, Baahubali earned Rs 118 crores during its six-week run. It’s evident that Prabhas has defeated Prabhas through the films.

Adipurush, Baahubali, and Salaar have demonstrated that Prabhas is, in fact, the most well-liked South Indian celebrity in the Hindi belt. Adipurush experienced a spectacular premiere before collapsing at the box office. In just 12 days, Salaar has made over Rs 100 crores. Merry Christmas is the upcoming major release, so Salaar will be available for an additional 10 days.

Salaar creates a new record:

Salaar may not surpass KGF 2‘s Hindi collection. At the box office, it brought in an incredible Rs 400 crore. However, after Baahubali 2, which is among the best-performing South films in Hindi, it will be Prabhas’ next best film. It’s evident that Salaar has performed admirably abroad as well. The actor claimed that working on Salaar was a fulfilling experience. The sequel, which brings the story to a close, is currently in production.

The movie has already made an incredible 60 crores or so on its first day of release. The film’s breathtaking cinematography, Prashanth Neel’s directing, and the on-screen camaraderie between Prithviraj Sukumaran and Prabhas are all getting appreciation for being the biggest 2023 blockbuster. It makes sense that the film’s rights would be sought after by OTT platforms amid all of this.

In spite of competition from other streaming services, Netflix managed to reach an agreement with the creators of Salaar for digital rights. Yes, after an eight-week run in theatres, the movie will only be accessible via Netflix streaming. As those who have seen the movie already know, the second instalment is titled Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam.
