The second season of Legends League Cricket is back with a bang and is set to be a star-studded affair. The likes of Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, and Muttiah Muralitharan have confirmed their participation in the tournament. The tournament’s star power has increased due to the signings of the former players who have come on board to play in the tournament.

Raman Raheja, the CEO of LLC, has confirmed the development and has stated that the players are iconic ones and their presence will only add feathers to the tournament.

“As I mentioned earlier, we have four franchises who will play 15 matches between September 20 to October 10, 2022, at Oman. We will keep everyone updated with the names of players as we are trying to bring more iconic players on board to enhance the league. More celebrated legends of the game will mean the addition of more fans and that will help the league to reach a larger audience. He said in a released statement.

He further informed that the organizers of LLC will continue to announce the names of 110 top-class cricketers who will be split into four teams through a players draft process, which is expected to take place in early August 2022.
The LLC is back in grand fashion and it will only get bigger and better.

15 matches will be played in the league among the four teams and also the prize money is expected to be bigger and better this time around. The games will be played in Oman just like last year which is aimed to improve cricket awareness in the country which already has a cricket team and also has very good cricket infrastructure.

Oman also hosted the World T20 qualifiers in 2021. The 20-20 World Cup took place in the United Arab Emirates.
