The Money in the Bank ladder match that will take place in the WWE calendar promises to be a mouth-watering encounter. Ahead of the game, it is reported that Logan Paul, a rival to Roman Reigns, will return to Monday Night RAW in seven days’ time. This will be Paul’s first appearance at WWE since he lost to Steth Rawlins at Wrestle Mania 39. Paul coming back into the fold could make a huge difference.
Paul made a name for himself in WWE circles in 2022 when he took the decision of stepping into the ring. In Saudi Arabia, where he played his last match, he fought Roman Reigns with a lot of vigour but even after punching above his weight, he lost the encounter. When it comes to the Money in the Bank, ladder matches comprise six players each and all the slots for the men’s fixture have been filled up.
When we talk about the names, Santos Escobar, LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, Butch, and Damian Priest will fight each other in a race to become the Undisputed Universal Champion or World Heavyweight Champion. For the Money in the Bank fixture, there could be a surprise last-minute entry in the offing. In 2022, Bobby Lashley defeated Austin Theory to bag the US title. Lashley was slotted into the MITB men’s ladder game where he emerged victorious.
The same turn of events took place sometime back as well when Brock Lesnar did the same. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Roman Reigns’ former title challenger on RAW next week. When Logan Paul’s return to WWE RAW was announced it evoked mixed reactions. In the few chances that he has got, he has shown that he can have some presence with his performances in the ring and also some fan following.
He has become a very popular name in WWE. It remains to be seen what he could do if given a long run or if he is added to the MITB fixture. He could spring a surprise if given suitable opportunities.
