Filmmaker Rohit Shetty announced the global release date of January 19, 2024, for Indian Police Force, a seven-part action-packed series. Actor Sidharth Malhotra will be making his web series debut, on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day. Indian Police Force, led by Sushwanth Prakash and Rohit Shetty, pays tribute to the unwavering dedication of Indian law enforcement personnel.
Along with the Bollywood actor Siddharth Malhotra in the lead role, the series will also feature Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Vivek Oberoi, Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Lalit Parimoo in pivotal roles. With the potential to completely reshape the action genre on streaming services, the series will also be Shetty’s first digital feature film director.
The show honours the unwavering devotion, passionate patriotism, and selfless dedication of Indian police officers who risk everything to fulfil their duty of keeping the public safe. The series director Rohit Shetty said, “Indian Police Force is an integral part of my journey as a creator in the cop-verse that I and my team at Rohit Shetty Picturez have built with years of hard work and commitment. I am incredibly proud of my cast and team, who collaborated tirelessly to bring this action series to life in honour of our Indian Police officers’ bravery, sacrifice, and valour. With Rohit Shetty’s skill and ability to provide thrilling action blockbusters, the Amazon Original Series is set to raise the bar in the world of police films. On January 19, 2024, the Indian Police Force will make its international premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 other countries and territories.
