‘Remake of top gun?’ – After watching Fighter Teaser, Fans tag Hrithik Roshan & Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter a copy of Top Gun
The long-awaited teaser for Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film Fighter has arrived, and it lives up to expectations. Fighter teaser depicts Hrithik Roshan’s Patty, Deepika Padukone’s Minni, and Anil Kapoor‘s Rocky as squadron leaders in full uniform and swagger flying their fighter jets on a mission. The film will be released one year after Siddharth’s previous blockbuster, Pathaan, on January 25.
The teaser shows the main characters flying high in their jets, displaying some impressive aerial action. There are also some thrilling jet stunts and a brief glimpse of a Besharam Rang-style song with Hrithik and Deepika. Sujlam Suflam plays in the background as Hrithik unfurls a tricolour from his aircraft, and the teaser ends on a high note.
Fighter Teaser or Top Gun rip-off?
The first looks and character names of the lead actors were recently revealed. Hrithik plays Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Patty), Anil as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Rocky), and Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Minni). All are said to be Air Dragons members of the Indian Air Force, led by Anil’s Rocky. The motion poster for Fighter was released on July 4th this year, and the film will be the first major release of next year. It will be available one day before Republic Day.
Fighter is billed as the country’s first feature-length aerial action film. Pathaan, in which Deepika co-starred with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, is Deepika’s second film with Siddharth. She was seen in a very glamorous avatar and had quite a few action scenes in the over 1000 grosser. Fighter is Deepika’s first on-screen collaboration with Hrithik Roshan, which she pitched on social media long before the film’s announcement.
