‘RCB be like- Mujhe kyu toda’- Fans react as Gautam Gambhir posts cryptic tweet after CSK’s 5th IPL title win

Chennai Super Kings showed why they are the most consistent side in IPL 2023. MS Dhoni rose from the ashes and mounted a memorable comeback for CSK. The Yellove Any win their fifth title. Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir put out a cheeky tweet congratulating CSK. Congratulations CSK! Winning 1 title is difficult, winning 5 is unbelievable!  Gambhir wrote on twitter. GT could not defend their 2022 title as they lost to CSK by 5 wickets.

Ravindra Jadeja produced unbelievable batting heroics and hit 10 runs of the last two balls to take CSK to the pinnacle of glory yet again. When Gambhir put out the tweet, there was a lot of reactions from the fans on social media. They said that with the tweet it hinted that Gambhir was taking a dig at RCB. The Bold Army finished in sixth in 20223 and were out of the playoffs race.

Gambhir coached LSG had yet another good campaign has they finished third in the league stage of the Indian Premier League. They then lost to Mumbai Indians in the eliminator. This brought an end to their campaign. LSG have made it to the IPL playoffs two years in a row.  The KL Rahul led side had 17 points from 14 games with eight wins, five losses and one no result in IPL 2023.

CSK had a great campaign in IPL 2023 in the playoffs. They made the most of home advantage in the first qualifier. In a match that was hotly contested they beat GT by a slender margin of 15 runs. They had an additional four days of rest as they were the first team to directly qualify into the 2023 finals. It remains to be seen whether MS Dhoni will play another IPL season in 2023. For now, he has kept everyone guessing.

With CSK winning five titles as well. MI have some company with five titles. CSK has been more consistent than the Paltan when it comes to making it to the playoffs on finals on a regular basis. The final for IPL 2024 is likely to be held in Chennai. IPL 2023 will be forever remembered for the MS Dhoni phenomenon.
