‘Pure madness in last 60 seconds’ – Fans react as Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone get into an intense air battle in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter trailer!
The eagerly awaited trailer for Fighter, helmed by Siddharth Anand, dropped on Monday. And it’s an intensely emotional ride. Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik Roshan), Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Deepika Padukone), and other members of the “special response team” are shown in the trailer as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, played by Anil Kapoor, advising them to develop “interpersonal relations” with one another because they are the most valuable weapon in a war.
The action then moves to Jammu and Kashmir, where Deepika, Hrithik, and their friends are seen having a blast. After a terrorist attack in Pulwama, however, Hrithik and Deepika’s elite team are sent on a mission of a lifetime, and an airstrike from across the border is launched in retaliation.

You’ll be captivated by the action-packed trailer until the very end thanks to its thrilling aerial action scenes. Can the man on the mission, Hrithik Roshan, avenge his fellow fighters’ deaths and save his country? The answer will unravel only in theatres on January 25th. Taking it to his official Instagram handle, Hrithik Roshan dropped the trailer stating, “Dil aakaash ke naam, aur jaan desh ke naam. Jai Hind (the heart is dedicated to the sky and life is dedicated to the country. Jai Hind).”
This is Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s first joint project, Fighter. After the 2008 hit Bachna Ae Haseeno and the 2023 smash Pathaan, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, this is Deepika’s third movie with Siddharth Anand. Action films like War (2019) and Bang Bang (2014) were two of Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand’s joint ventures.
In addition to Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and Anil Kapoor, Fighter also stars Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover. The movie is scheduled for release on January 25, 2024, in theatres. The official teaser for the movie was released by the makers in December 2023.
The main cast of Fighter performed aerial stunts and flew high in their jets in the teaser. It also revealed a sneak peek at a party song with the main cast and a kissing scene with Hrithik and Deepika. With Sujlam Suflam playing in the background and Hrithik unfolding a tricolour from his aircraft, the teaser came to a thrilling conclusion.
