As the Indian Premier League 2023, is moving towards its business end, an advertisement endorsement report revealed that Virat Kohli is the no. 1 sports personality in India. According to the TAM report, Kohli endorsed around 13% of advertisements during the ongoing IPL 2023. He is the fifth highest personality on the list of overall celebrities following, Amir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan and others.

Notably in the list of sports personalities, Kohli is followed by India skipper Rohit Sharma. Rohit is just 2% behind Kohli as he endorsed 11% of advertisements during the tournament. The other three of the top five sports personalities were, Hardik Pandya, Yuvraj Singh and Jasprit Bumrah with nine, eight and seven per cent respectively. The report also revealed that Kohli and Rohit were the only two sports personalities who were also part of the list in the last IPL.

Will RCB beat SRH in Hyderabad?

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli who is the leading run-getter in the history of the Indian Premier League is currently playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. In a do-or-die game, RCB is set to face Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Notably, Kohli has a terrible record against Hyderabad as in the last two games he registered two consecutive golden ducks against the Orange Army.

In their last seven games at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, SRH has defeated RCB six times. It’s a do-or-die game for Faf du Plessis and company as RCB needs to win this game to stay in the race for playoffs. On the other hand, SRH is already out of the league and would like to end on a higher note. Their victory over RCB might ensure Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants a qualification berth too. Meanwhile, if RCB lose today they will need to win against GT in the last league game of the tournament with a huge margin and would also need to wish Mumbai to lose their last league game against SRH in Wankhede stadium on May 21.
