PUBG Esports have now revealed its partnered teams for the 2024 season. This time around, there are two more teams included in the partner program, shifting the total number of teams to 10.

The decision to add two new teams was taken due to popular fan demand during Krafton’s assessment for teams. The new teams include CERBERUS Esports and Daytrade Gaming.

Here are all the partnered teams –

  • 7Gaming
  • FaZe CLAN
  • Four Angry Men
  • Gen.G
  • NAVI
  • Petrichor Road
  • Soniqs
  • Twisted Minds
  • CERBERUS Esports
  • Daytrade Gaming

Apart from the two new teams, the eight teams from last year’s partner program have managed to secure their spot once again. This is thanks to their sheer amount of fan following.

These 10 teams will now join 14 more qualifying teams for the PUBG Global Series 2024 Phase 3 LAN event. More details regarding the event will be revealed soon by Krafton.

New teams fulfilling the criteria

As per the official statement from PUBG Esports, both CERBERUS Esports and Daytrade Gaming fulfil the partner criteria. CERBERUS Esports has become one of the most popular teams in Southeast Asia with a massive following.

Similarly, Daytrade Gaming from Thailand displayed dominating skill in the PUBG Esports tournaments. The teams have also made a significant fan following.

What are the evaluation criteria?

To get selected as one of the partners, Esports teams will have to fulfil a criteria chart. This is spread between Governance, Fandom and History of the teams.

Governance accounts for 30% of the criteria. Teams will be evaluated for stability, future commitment and legal structure. Passing all these will increase their chance of being selected.

Fandom refers to the fan following of the teams and accounts for 40% of the criteria. Both the presence and value contribution of the teams will be evaluated.

The last criterion to check is the History of the team, accounting for the rest 30%. The team’s history in esports and their structure is evaluated to determine if they are fit to be one of the partners.
