In the first semifinal of the ongoing 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League, table toppers Puneri Paltan(PUN) will take on three times winners, Patna Pirates(PAT). During the league stage, the 2022 finalists had a dream season as they lost only two games, tied three and won 17. On the other hand, the Pirates were in the sixth and last position of the qualification.

The former champions eked out a two-point against the 2021-22 winners, Dabang Delhi K.C in the Eliminator One while the Paltans directly qualified for the semis as they finished in the top-two. Meanwhile, the winner of this game will join the winners of the second semis between Jaipur Pink Panthers and Haryana Steelers.

Talking about the first semifinal, Pune is the favourite to win the game given their form during the league stage. However, the knockouts work differently and the Orange Army need to carry their form.
