‘Pehle schedule toh final karlo’ – Fans react as last date for submission of ODI 2023 World Cup squads is out

The 2023 ODI World Cup in India is approaching near, as the teams are preparing for the tournament. The host nation India is making sure that the tournament will take place without any hiccups. Hence, the schedule for the ODI World Cup will be prepared once again and let out for the fans. Since October and November have some of the biggest festivals like Navratri, Durga Puja, and Deepavali, the rescheduling of the dates will take place.  

All the teams for the tournament have confirmed their places. A total of ten teams will be taking part in the tournament from different parts of the world. The tournament features India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, England, and the Netherlands. Teams from 4 different continents will take part in the tournament.  

All the teams are preparing for the tournament in their own way. Asian teams like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan will take part in the Asia Cup 2023, which will be like a mini ODI World Cup. The SENA teams (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia) will prepare for the tournament by playing bilateral ODI series against some top teams.  

Last date to announce squads for the tournament

The Netherlands, who will be playing their first ODI World Cup since 2011, will reach India early and prepare in Bengaluru for the tournament. Australia seems to be the team that has already figured out their probable players for the tournament. The 5-time champions announced their probable 18 players squad for the tournament, which will play against South Africa and India in bilateral series.  

According to the latest reports, the last date for the submission of the ODI World Cup squad is out. The reports suggest that the teams must announce their squads for the tournament by the 27th of September, which is roughly 50 days from this day. Keeping in mind the final date to announce the squad, the teams will now FastTrack their process of preparing for the tournament, which is already in full swing.
