This will be a historical tour for England as they will tour Pakistan after a long gap of 17 years. Last year in 2021, England were committed to touring Pakistan and backed out at the last-minute citing security concerns as the prime reason.

This is the first time that a bilateral T20I series will go on for that long. Alex Hales will be seen in action as he got in due to the injured Johnny Bairstow. Jordan Cox and Luke Wood are players who earn a spot in this series.

Moeen Ali will lead the side when the tour begins, and Liam Livingstone will give this tour a miss due to an ankle injury. Jos Butler might take over later in the series depending upon the condition of his calf injury.
