Renowned playback singer Arijit Singh will perform before the high-profile ODI World Cup 2023 match involving Pakistan and India. This event will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Indian Cricket Board announced about this pre-match show on Thursday. The biggest cricket venue in the world will host the 12th game of the ODI World Cup 2023 on Saturday.

Numerous celebrities from the worlds of politics, Bollywood, and other professions are anticipated at this edition’s headline match at the Narendra Modi stadium. Before the game, Arijit Singh will perform as the featured performer. The Indian Cricket Board is going all out to make a spectacle out of the highly anticipated encounter involving India and Pakistan in the group stage, despite not holding an opening ceremony prior to the opening game between England and New Zealand on October 5.

There will likely be a full house of VIPs, politicians, and additional high-profile attendees from the Indian Cricket Board at the 132,000-capacity stadium. When Rohit Sharma’s team takes against Babar Azam & Co., India will be aiming to keep their perfect record against Pakistan, which they have defeated 7-0 in ODI World Cups. India already defeated Pakistan this year, this time in the Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka last month.

Shubman Gill might return to the Indian team for mega clash against Pakistan

Prior to India’s debut match versus Australia during the ODI World Cup 2023 here in India, in-form starter Shubman Gill diagnosed positive for dengue. Not only were the selectors in a panic, but so were the 140 crore Indians. The fans also have been patiently waiting for 12 years expecting India to win the World Cup.

In order to recuperate from the sickness, Gill has been forced to miss two World Cup games. He was also sent to the hospital as a result of his platelet count which had fallen to 70000.

Gill, however, was spotted exercising in the nets on Thursday, October 12. This was prior to the intense encounter versus Pakistan on Saturday, October 14, in Ahmedabad. Before reaching a decision, head coach Rahul Dravid as well as the medical team will evaluate Gill.
