By the time the sun sets, it will be a great place to play cricket with the temperatures likely to be low. Dew could play a huge factor during the second half of the game. The captain winning the toss could look to bowl first to make use of the conditions while chasing.

Pune has hosted 7 ODI games so far and the record is mixed. Teams batting first have won the games  four times while teams batting second have won it on 3 occasions. The highest chase on this ground was achieved by India when they chased down the 351-run target set by England in 2017.

The Bangladeshi team is set to take a call on Shakib Al Hasan on the day of the game. The Bangladeshi skipper had hurt himself during the game against England. India on the other hand could look to bring either R. Ashwin or Mohammad Shami into the team. Shardul Thakur could be replaced as India aims to win their 4th game of the ODI World Cup 2023.
