It has been some time since Diablo 4 was released and now players can enjoy the game without even getting an expensive gaming PC. Diablo 4 along with Overwatch 2 are the first of many that will be joining Nvidia GeForce Now.

Nvidia GeForce Now already have Xbox PC Game Pass and Steam integrations and announced that Battle.net support will also be added soon. As for when the games will be available, there is no official date.

Since Rat Tracing is nowadays the talk of the town, Nvidia announced that more games will be getting RTX enhancements along with DLSS, including Diablo 4. Along with that, it will also be featured in Nvidia’s cloud gaming service.

This comes after Microsoft signed a 10-year contract with Nvidia during the Activision Blizzard acquisition to bring their games to other cloud gaming platforms. Apart from that, Nvidia also showcased the new RTX 40 Super Series graphics card during the CES 2024 showcase.

What is Cloud Gaming?

Cloud gaming is a form of online gaming where players can access modern video game titles on any device from anywhere. Consider the tech as cloud storage where people can access their games anytime.

The games are stored on the servers of the company providing the service and are streamed remotely to the device it is being accessed from. Do note that players will need to own the game to play them. Free games are an exception.

While there are some drawbacks, such as latency and response, especially in online games, it is generally good for single-player games. Another disadvantage is that the user will need to have internet access.

A huge advantage is that players do not need to worry about purchasing expensive gaming hardware or updating the current system frequently.
