Shoaib Mali’s no-ball controversy against Khulna Tigers

However, he achieved a significant milestone last week, becoming the first Asian player and the second overall to score 13,000 runs in Twenty20 cricket. He accomplished this feat during the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) match between Fortune Barishal and Rangpur Riders, joining Chris Gayle on an elite list. Shoaib’s tenure ended with Pakistan by playing 287 ODIs 124 T20Is and 35 Test matches. In November 2021 in a T20 game against Bangladesh, he last played for Pakistan.

For the remaining game in BPL, Sohaib Malik will be replaced by his national team Ahmed Shehzad.
