Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, starring Prabhas, will soon earn more than ₹650 worldwide. Despite competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which was also released around Christmas 2024, the action movie is still the top earner at the box office. Prabhas has now discussed his plans for 2024 as well as the schedule for Salaar 2, which is being dubbed Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, in an interview with India Today.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire starred Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. In reference to the highly anticipated sequel to the movie, Prabhas stated, “The story is already ready, and we are going to start very soon, aiming to deliver the film as soon as possible for the audiences. I know a lot of my fans are counting down the seconds to its release. We’ll soon make Salaar Part 2 details public.”

Prabhas gets candid:

The actor went on, “My sole objective is to use my work to entertain as many people as possible worldwide. That’s the main concept underlying the movies I select. The upcoming movie will take place in the distant future. A rough mass movie called Salaar is the next project, and it’s a horror movie. In order to entertain the audience, I want to experiment with different genres, and I hope that they will love my next films just as much as they did Salaar.”

The filmmaker Prashanth Neel revealed his plans for Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam in a recent interview with Pinkvilla. The film’s director declared that he is eager to show the conclusion. He predicted that Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire’s world and its characters would converge in the follow-up picture. According to Prashanth Neel, “The significance of all of this will only heighten Deva and Varadha’s animosity and friendship. And that was the whole idea—that’s how I want Salaar 2 to end.”

In addition to Prabhas and Prithviraj in the key roles, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire had an ensemble cast that included prominent roles from Shruti Haasan, Bobby Simha, Jagapathi Babu, Mime Gopi, John Vijay, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and many more. Hombale Productions is the producer. Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire is set in the fictitious dystopian city-state of Khansaar and centres on the friendship between Varadha (Prithviraj Sukumaran), the prince of Khansaar, and Deva (Prabhas), a tribesman.
