‘Mumbai vs CSK final ke liye taiyaar rehna dostoon’ – Fans react to a stunning win for MI over LSG in IPL 2023 Eliminator

Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants faced off in the Eliminator match in the IPL 2023 playoffs. Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to bat first, and it was a good decision considering what happened during the Qualifier 1 game yesterday on the same ground. Suryakumar Yadav as well as Cameron Green continuously scored at 10 runs per over to put pressure on LSG after the openers departed early after a respectable start in the opening three overs. 

Naveen returned and dismissed both batters in the same over just as MI was about to make the total high. Nehal Wadhera replaced Suryakumar Yadav as the impact substitute, who helped them stretch their batting. Wadhera scored a critical 23 as a result of that brilliant decision from the MI management. With the exception of the final over, which went for 14, the Lucknow Super Giants performed admirably, with Naveen as well as Yash Thakur each getting 7 wickets. Mumbai Indians scored a great total of 182 runs on a dry Chepauk pitch. The Mumbai Indians had the advantage as the pitch settled down.

Akash Madhwal trashes LSG’s batting lineup

Just one batter for the Lucknow Super Giants cleared the 20-mark while chasing 182. The Mumbai Indians’ bowling performance was highlighted by Aakash Madhwal’s magnificent five-for. Three run-outs constituted a significant factor in Lucknow’s failure in this crucial match. After they lost two wickets for 21 runs during the powerplay, Lucknow failed to get off to a good start. Marcus Stonis and Krunal Pandya, however, steadied the ship.

 But after Piyush Chawla dismissed Pandya, Lucknow was unable to recover, losing their final 8 wickets for 32 runs. The Gujarat Titans will now play the Mumbai Indians at their home venue in Ahmedabad in Qualifier 2 after Mumbai Indians won the Eliminator game by a final score of 81 runs.
