1. Anil Kumble
Anil Kumble was one who had the heart of a lion when he played for India, Kumble picked up 619 wickets in Test cricket. The leg-spinner has 35 five-wicket hauls in Test cricket which is the most by an Indian in the longer format. Kumble had an economy rate of 2.69 in his Test career and he also captained the India Test side for a short period of time after Sourav Ganguly retired. Kumble has also scored a hundred in England and was a feisty lower-order batter.
