Suryakumar Yadav, the explosive batter of the Indian cricket team, disguised himself and went to Marine Drive to interact with people

Team India is the only unbeaten team in the ongoing World Cup, having won all of their six matches, four of them comprehensively. They were heavily tested in their last two encounters against New Zealand and England but still came out on top. This will give them even more confidence as they head into the knockout stages. The Rohit Sharma-led side now has three games remaining in the group stage against Sri Lanka, South Africa and the Netherlands.

While cricket has been breathtaking, the camaraderie between the players and the team environment has been another highlight of Team India’s World Cup campaign. Videos posted by the team’s official social media handles reveal that everyone is relishing each other’s company and success. This is a testament to the management’s ability to create a positive and supportive atmosphere.

The Indian Cricket Board has also taken steps to help players relax and de-stress during this gruelling and lengthy World Cup campaign. For example, after the match against New Zealand, the team was granted a break to unwind before the business end of the tournament.

SKY goes to Mumbai streets in disguise

Now, in a unique and fun activity, Suryakumar Yadav, the explosive batter of the Indian cricket team, disguised himself and went to Marine Drive to interact with people about cricket. He wore a full-sleeved shirt to conceal his tattoos, a mask, and sunglasses to maintain his anonymity. SKY, as he is popularly known, conversed with a variety of people about diverse topics, including the best restaurants in the vicinity and their favourite Indian cricket player.

Suryakumar Yadav also drew out opinions from a few people about himself. One of them effusively praised the middle-order batter, commending his batting prowess and describing his 360-degree shots as enigmatic.

However, one person’s response nearly caused him to erupt in laughter, as he later confessed. The person advised Suryakumar to improve his game by seeking guidance from experienced coaches without knowing that the interviewer was SKY himself. The response had the people in splits.

Here’s how people on X reacted to the funny incident:
