Bangalore franchise of the Indian T20 League enjoyed another good season in the recently-concluded tournament of 2022. The team was led by former South African skipper Faf Du Plessis after the former skipper of team Virat Kohli stepped down from the role. “Bangalore’s fanbase is the biggest fanbase for any cricketing team,” Mahipal Lomror was quoted as saying to Sportskeeda. Notably, Lomror was bought by Bangalore in the mega auction for this year’s tournament at an amount of INR 95 lakhs. Bangalore picked the youngster after going through a bidding war with the Rajasthan.

Although, he couldn’t enjoy a good season while playing for Bangalore. Batting in 5 innings of the 7 matches he played, Lomror managed to score 86 with an average of a mere 17.20 having the highest individual score of 42 runs to his name.
