A-lister personalities like Kapil Sharma, Hina Khan, and Huma Qureshi have also been found allegedly related to the Mahadev Betting App case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is in full swing to reach the depths of the illegal activities. In relation to the Mahadev Betting App. They are investigating money laundering related to the app and the promotional activity involvement of these celebrities. Now, Kapil Sharma and Hina Khan have been asked to appear before the central agency. Just after a day of Ranbir Kapoor getting summoned by the ED, these celebs have been called in too. The comedian and the actress have to appear in front of the ED on Friday.

Taking it to their official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, the news agency ANI tweeted, “ED has summoned comedian Kapil Sharma and actor Huma Qureshi in connection with the Mahadev betting app case: ED Sources.” According to reports, Ranbir Kapoor had already been contacted to ascertain his understanding of the origin of the funds used for the promotion of the betting app. According to a News18 report, the organisation has requested that the actor appear before their Raipur, Chhattisgarh, office on October 6.

A source close to ED revealed, “Ranbir Kapoor has been asked to attend so that he may comprehend the betting industry transactions. He has not yet been called as an accused at this time. It’s critical to probe him regarding his awareness of the origins of the funds he received. It might reveal the promoters’ and their association’s plans.”

The source added, “Ranbir Kapoor may not be a member of the plot, but he is very crucial to comprehend the scam. Ranbir allegedly received compensation for carrying out advertising for the in-question betting app. Numerous other famous people and actors reportedly will be called in the near future for the same.”

According to sources at the ED, this process could involve up to 17 Bollywood superstars. For attending or providing entertainment at the wedding of the company’s CEO, Sourabh Chandrakar, in February of this year. As well as the company’s success celebration in September of 2022. This includes Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and others.
