Australia appealed for being caught behind but it was denied by umpire Nitin Manon. Although, After much consideration, Alex Carey, Starc, and skipper Steve Smith avoided going for a review. Later The UltraEdge displayed a spike on it when the ball passed the bat.

The second chance Rohit got when Manon once again didn’t give him out. It was the fourth ball of the very first over when the ball got to swing in and beats the inside edge, Rohit moves forward and fails to middle the ball as it brushes his pads.

Unfortunately, Rohit ran out of luck and was dismissed for 12 runs in the sixth over by Kuhnemann. Australia would be relieved that the missed opportunities did not cost them much money.
