Chasing 345 to win, Pakistan was placed in a precarious looking 37/2 having lost Imam Ul Haq and Babar Azam. It took a 176-run stand for the third wicket between Mohammad Rizwan and Abdullah Shafique to bail the team out of troubled waters. Shafique scored his first ODI century before departing for 113 runs from 103 balls.
Rizwan then added 95 runs for the fourth wicket with Saud Shakeel in just 69 balls to take his team closer. The winning hit came when Rizwan hit Madushanka for a four to seal the biggest chase in ODI World Cup history. The Pakistani batter was not out on a career-best 131 off 121 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes.
The Sri Lankans won the toss and chose to bat first and saw Kusal Perera depart early. Pathum Nissanka set the ball rolling with 51 runs. it was Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama who took the Pakistani bowling on with a classy 111-run stand.
Kusal Mendis scored 122 runs which came off just 77 balls with 14 hits to the fence and 6 massive sixes. Samarawickrama scored 108 runs from 93 balls with 11 fours and 2 sixes as Sri Lanka scored 344/9. Hasan Ali was the leading wicket-taker with 4/71 from his 10 overs.

How will a century or a win help them in Gaza? Instead, you and entire Pak team should donate all kinds of earnings, whether it's match fees, awards, endorsements, etc., from the World Cup to Palestinians. That would be genuine assistance. Otherwise this tweet is just hogwash.
