‘Lagta hai paise kam ho gaye phir se’- Fans react as Hasin Jahan moves Supreme court and alleges criminal case against Mohammed Shami

While Mohammed Shami is scripting game-changing performances on the field, there is a lot of tension off the field. The fast bowler’s estranged wife Hasin Jahan has filed a special petition with the Supreme Court. She claimed that there is a criminal case against the Indian pacer. She also mentioned that the stay order on Shami for the past four years has been granted through an error.

In a big load of fresh allegations, Jahan launched a scathing attack on Shami and she said that Shami still continues to engage in extra-marital affairs with prostitutes. She also said that this happened when Shami went out on tours abroad. Shami has disapproved of all the claims that Jahan has made so far. She has, however, pushed on and continued to file cases against Shami hoping for justice to be served. The India pacer and his elder brother were grilled with questions by the Kolkata Policewomen’s cell.

An arrest warrant was given by the Alipore court against Shami. No strict action was taken and the warrant was stayed. In a fresh plea which was put out by Jahan where the model claimed that he demanded dowry. “Mr. Shami used to use his second mobile phone, an HTC device with the number +447864905556, for managing all his affairs related to prostitutes, and the said phone was seized by the Lal Bazaar Police, Kolkata, in connection with the present crime. However, as per the allegations in the petition, Mr. Shami still continues to be involved in sexual activities with prostitutes,” the petition stated.

Some time back, Shami had gone on record and said that he would tender an apology to Hasin if the claims were proven right. In 2023, the Kolkata court ordered to pay out a monthly alimony of 50,000 INR to Jahan. She was not happy with the verdict and demanded that an alimony of 10 lahks INR per month be paid to her. The court did not take the request forward as they were of the opinion that Jahan could cater to her and her daughter with her modelling job.
