‘Kuch bhi ho KL Rahul har team mein rehta hai’- Fans react as India announce squad for ODIs, last two Tests vs Australia
The squads for the final two Tests against Australia have been announced. While the Test squad looks the same as the first two Tests. KL Rahul has been removed from the vice-captaincy post and that is the only change. The rest of the Test side looks the same. Jaydev Unadkat comes back into the Test squad after having been released from the second Test to play the Ranji final.
When it comes to the three match ODI series, which will be played after the Tests, Jaydev Unadkat comes into the 50-over fold which is a big surprise. He comes in as a replacement for Arshdeep Singh who had a see-saw series in the T20Is and ODIs that he has played. Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj have kept their place due to great performances in the ODI series against New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

The ODIs will be played from March 17. The third Test will start from March 1 at Indore and the 4th Test will be played at Ahmedabad, starting March 9. The ODI series will be played just before the start of the Indian T20 League. India won their last two ODI series against Sri Lanka and New Zealand and are in great form at home.
Hardik Pandya will lead the Indian side in the first ODI against Australia as Rohit Sharma will be unavailable due to family commitments. India have had 2-0 lead in the four match Test series and will look to try and seal the Test series at Indore by winning with a 3-0 margin to seal a place at the Test Championship final.
