Kareena Kapoor introduces her character Jasmeet Bhamra in Hansal Mehta’s next
The Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor is all set to feature in the ace filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s most awaited upcoming film. The actress shared her excitement with her fans in a candid post writing a heartfelt note. She will not only be donning the role of an actress but will also be debuting as a producer for Hansal Mehta’s next. Yes, you have read that right! Kareena Kapoor has finally stepped into the big shoes of a producer in the Hindi entertainment industry.
Her upcoming film with the bigwig filmmaker Hansal Mehta is titled. ‘The Buckingham Murders’. Fans of the actress are excited to see her in a new and exciting character. The movie has already marked its premiere at the BFI London Film Festival. Now, taking it to her official Instagram handle, Kareena dropped a bunch of pictures from the sets and of the film. She will be seen playing the role of Jasmeet Bhamra. The character is a detective and mother who, after losing her own child, must investigate the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire.
On her Instagram account on Sunday, Kareena posted a number of fresh images along with a sneak peek at her upcoming character. She could be seen in one photo gazing out of a glass window, while in another, she was waiting at the table looking serious. She was also captured on camera on the set with the fog covering everything. While sharing the images, Kareena wrote a heartfelt long note in her caption. Check out her caption below.

In her heartfelt note, Kareena shared how she collaborated with director Hansal Mehta and producer Ektaa Kapoor for the ‘unconventional film’. She also revealed her experience and journey of playing the layered character of Jas Bhamra. Fans of the actress are proud of her for proving her versatility and never giving up on trying something new.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor was last seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s film Jaane Jaan. The film got an OTT release on Netflix on 21st September.
