Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in Football currently. The 30-year-old is the highest goal scorer of all time for both England and Tottenham. In the history of the Premier League, Kane has the second most goals for a player. The English captain is said to have a strong link-up play, which makes him one of the best strikers in Football. The association of Kane with Tottenham was amazing and one of the iconic pairings in history.

But the time has come for Kane to move from Tottenham. According to reports, Bayern Munich’s offer to sign the English captain for 100 million euros has been accepted by the London club. Kane played 435 matches for Tottenham and scored 280 goals. In the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons of the Premier League, Kane was the highest goal scorer of the league for two consecutive seasons.

Harry Kane: A prolific striker for Tottenham

In 2017-18, Kane helped Tottenham to touching distance of the Premier League. In the same season, Kane scored 41 goals in 48 matches across all competitions for Tottenham. The 2018-19 season saw the London club finish as runners-up in the UEFA Champions League. In the 2020-21 season, he was the highest goal scorer and assist provider in the UEFA Champions League.

The English captain, who was the Golden Boot winner in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, is said to be an old-fashioned traditional center-forward. Very often, Kane’s playing style is compared to that of Jurgen Klinsmann, who was also a Tottenham forward. In the most recent 2022-23 season, he scored 30 goals in 38 matches for Spurs and provided 3 assists in an otherwise forgettable season.

The captain of the English national team’s contract with Spours expires in the upcoming summer. The English captain reportedly does not want to leave Tottenham. The Spurs have not won a title since 2008 and hence want a change. While moving to Bayern Munich can potentially give Kane his maiden major trophy, it is to be seen if the English captain would be happy with the deal between the two clubs.
