Arshdeep Singh has quickly become one of the most important players for India in white ball cricket. The left-arm pacer has grabbed his chances with both hands after being given the opportunity in the team. Now, he has been leading a very young but potent attack including the likes of Umran Malik, Avesh Khan, and others.

Singh was immense with the ball in the Asia Cup 2022 but a dropped catch against Pakistan got him trolled and criticised on social media. Any other young player would have succumbed to the pressure but Singh rose back to the challenge and shut his critics up with a sensational performance at the 20-20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

With 10 wickets, Singh led India’s bowling lineup in absence of Jasprit Bumrah and made sure to not let bowling be the weakest link for the team. For his performance, Singh has been chosen as the contender for the Emerging Cricketer of the Year.

Away from cricket however the 23-year-old comes off as a happy-go-lucky guy and does things a person his age would do. In Australia, he entertained his fans with his misspelled city names. Now he has put up another Instagram story that is going viral on the internet.

On the day of New Year’s eve, Singh shared a picture of himself from the driving seat of the car with the caption, “Never been more scared in my life [skull emoji].”

The below emojis however are what have made this Instagram story very funny to the fans. His emoji read, “[Girl emoji+ car emoji= skull emoji].”

What the bowler meant to say is that driving with a girl is a recipe for disaster. The story has caught more attention since another Indian player Rishabh Pant was involved in a car accident.

Pant however is currently doing much better and is in stable condition following his ‘near death’ crash. Fans have now made light of the accident and are thankful that the situation was no worse.
