The secretary of the Indian Cricket Board, Jay Shah, met the Indian legendary cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, and provided him with a Golden ticket ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup. The Golden ticket is provided by the Indian cricket board for some of the celebrities who can watch any match in the tournament they wish to without any specific tickets.

Before Sachin Tendulkar, the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was also provided the Golden ticket to watch the 2023 ODI World Cup. The secretary of the Indian Cricket Board made sure to provide the golden ticket for the superstars himself. Likewise, Shah met Sachin Tendulkar himself personally and provided the invaluable Golden ticket for the legendary cricketer.
