Janhvi Kapoor has been extremely busy. The actress is currently preparing for her upcoming film Devara, in which she will appear alongside Jr NTR. She has now completed the film’s filming schedule. Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram to share a Devara update. With a red heart emoji, she captioned a photo of her movie night at home, “Nothing like a tres leches and a movie night after a fulfilling schedule wrap #Devara.”

Janhvi Kapoor makes her South film debut with Devara. Koratala Siva’s film is set to be released on April 5, 2024. Janhvi Kapoor is all set for her Telugu debut in the film Devara alongside Jr NTR. Janhvi opened up about working in Devara in an interview with Galatta Plus, calling the experience ‘comfortable’ and ‘the most liberating.’ She stated, “For the film, I shot for three days. It was extremely relaxing. They were so sweet. It’s everything I’ve wanted to do for a long time. It was the most liberating thing for me to go on set and get the brief. And then just have fun in front of the camera. Even the people over there welcomed me with open arms. It was like coming home.”

When asked how she dealt with the language, Janhvi revealed that the three days she has filmed thus far have all been reaction shots. No dialogues were involved. Fans of the actress are eagerly waiting to see her create magic on the big screen. Her South debut is one of the most anticipated by fans as her mother dominated the South film industry with her talent and skilled performances. It will be interesting to see if the young actress will be able to impress the audience in the South.

Apart from this, Janhvi was most recently seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal, which sparked outrage for comparing marital discord to Auschwitz and greedy people to Hitler. The film was condemned by both the Jewish organization The Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Israeli embassy.
