‘It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity’- Rishabh Pant takes a sly dig at Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela
India cricketer Rishabh Pant has shot back at Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela with a cryptic Instagram story. Apparently, in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, she had said that there was an instance when he came to meet Rautela in her hotel. Notably, she didn’t mention the name of Rishabh Pant but used his initials ‘RP’ during the entire conversation. In the course of the conversation, she had made a stunning revelation that the wicketkeeper batter asked her to meet in Delhi when she was shooting in Varanasi.
According to her, the left-hander came to her Hotel as per commitment and waited in the ‘waiting area’. However, she told that because she was tired, she went to sleep and forgot that she had committed. The video went viral and the alleged relationship between the two became a hot topic of discussion. For the uninitiated, the duo was rumored to be seeing each other in late 2019. However, after a while, the rumors had died down and both went their separate ways. However, thanks to the star cricketer’s revelation, things have taken a different turn.

In a fiery response, Rishabh Pant said that the story cooked up by the actress is false and there is no relationship between them. He mentioned this in a cryptic tweet on Instagram. He also said that the story is not believable and is entirely fabricated.
On the other hand, she went on to blame the media for making them the headlines the next day and ruining the budding relationship. This is another Cricket Bollywood controversy that has been brewing but has been put on the back burner for now.
