‘Is he taking dig at thala’ -Fans react to Yuvraj Singh’s revelation about Virat Kohli’s support during former’s comeback in India Cricket Team
Yuvraj Singh has opened a can of worms about his comeback to the Indian Team. he was adjudged as the player of the tournament in the 2011 World Cup. At that time, he scored 362 runs in nine innings at an average of 90.50 and a strike rate of 86.19. The southpaw also struck four fifties and one hundred against West Indies. Yuvraj was also destructive with the ball as he also picked up 15 wickets in the tournament.
Then disaster struck as he was diagnosed with cancer, delaying his return to the Indian Team. He overcame all odds, wore the India jersey again, and represented India with flying colours before calling it quits. Now in a startling revelation, he has said that Virat Kohli was the one who gave him his full support during that time. “When I made my comeback in the Indian team, Virat Kohli supported me a lot during his captaincy. If Virat didn’t support me, my comeback would never have happened.” Yuvraj said to News 18.
Yuvraj Singh played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2014 Indian Premier League edition
Yuvraj, under Kohli, played in the 2017 Champions Trophy. Royal Challengers Bangalore also brought him in the 2014 Indian Premier League (IPL). The man from Punjab came to RCB at a whopping price of 14.5 crore INR then. In the season, Yuvraj was one of RCB’s best players, scoring 376 runs in 14 games at an average of 34.18 and at a strike rate of 135.25. He scored three fifties with the highest score of 83.
Kohli and Yuvraj were very fond of each other and had a great bonhomie between them. They had and still have a lot of respect for each other. When Yuvraj talked about this stunning disclosure, fans lauded Virat Kohli for backing Yuvraj to the hilt. Also, they said that Kohli is lacking support in the Indian cricket team at present, which led to his ouster as captain of the national side. Kohli did not have a good World Test Championship final (WTC), as he scored 63 runs in two innings.

Virat supported yuvi that's why yuvi played 2017 ct final otherwise if Ms would have been capt I don't think he would have selected yuvi and virat removed all the csk quota players in his capt like raina , ash from white ball ,Mohit

He supported everyone but himself failed to get that respect from others

One thing’s for sure Had Kohli been captain after 2015 WC, Yuvi would have directly been included in the squad after that.

He only supported you cause of your past reputation and probably friendship nothing else .if it was based on current form you had no chance being in the Indian team!
