The heat is turning on at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice 2024 as group stages reach closer to its conclusion. The semifinals for both upper and lower brackets saw some more legends falling down.

While NaVi managed to see another fighting day, Team Vitality was not fortunate enough. On the other hand, G2 Esports also lost their semifinals match and was knocked down to the lower brackets. Here are the match-ups and results for Group stage semifinals –

Upper brackets

Group A

FaZe Clan Vs Eternal Fire – Eternal Fire was bested by the long-running Faze clan in the semifinals with the scoreline of 1-2. The match started with Faze taking the first map, however, Eternal Fire made a comeback on the second. The team however could not hold the third map.

Team Spirit Vs Complexity – After defeating NaVi. Team Spirit went on to achieve another dominating win over Complexity. Taking both the first and second maps, Team Spirit ended the game rather quickly.

Group B

ENCE vs G2 Esports – G2 suffered a heavy loss in their semifinals as they lost two matches back to back against ENCE. Quite unexpected, but this does make the matches more interesting.

GamerLegion Vs MOUZ – Despite putting up a great fight, GamerLegion faced defeat against MOUZ in the semifinals. The first match went to overtime with MOUZ taking the win. The second map on the other hand was completely dominated by MOUZ.

Lower Brackets

Group A

Complexity Vs Team Falcons – After facing a loss in the upper bracket, Complexity once again saw defeat in the lower bracket, ending their run. The team breezed through the first map, however, Team Falcons did not give them a chance on the next two.

Eternal Fire Vs NaVi – After suffering a loss from Faze Clan, Eternal Fire was knocked down to the lower brackets, where they faced NaVi. Sadly, their story ended again with a 1-2 loss. While they managed to take the first match, NaVi made a comeback in the next two.
