Cristiano Ronaldo is an inspiration for millions around the world. The kind of celebrations he does is copied by his supporters almost every time.

What did the Indonesian kid do that made his video circulating on social media?

A video has surfaced on Social media where an Indonesian Kid playing with his friends scores a brilliant free-kick. The free-kick reminds everyone about the time Ronaldo scored a similar goal against Portsmouth for Manchester United in his initial spell for the club. The kid after scoring the wonderful goal celebrated it by hitting the famous “Siuu'” celebration.

About Ronaldo’s much-discussed gesture, the striker disclosed why he started this in 2019. He said, “I started to say ‘si’, it’s like ‘yes’, when I was in Real Madrid. When we would win, everyone would say ‘siiiii’ and so I started to say it. I don’t know why, it was natural. I was in the USA and we played against Chelsea and I don’t know where this is coming from, the celebration.

He added that, “I just scored the goal and it just came out. It was just natural, to be honest.  Since that, I started to do it more often and I feel like the supporters and the fans see it and they’re like ‘Cristiano, siiiiiiuuuu’. I’m like ‘wow! People are reminded of me because of it!’So it’s good, and I’ll continue doing it like that.”

Earlier this month, Cristiano Ronaldo was selected as the Saudi Pro League’s Player of the Month for February. He received his first personal award since joining Al Nassr. Last month, the 37-year-old contributed eight goals and two assists in four games.

While Ronaldo will be happy to have received the Player of the Month honor, his true motivation will be to attempt and win the Saudi Premier League’s Golden Boot at the end of the season. Ronaldo has participated in just five of Al Nassr’s first 18 league games this season, yet he is presently only five goals behind the division’s top scorer.
