Indian T20 League 2023: Full 405 players list for Mini-auction announced

The auction is scheduled for December 23rd.

The Indian T20 League mini-auction is all set to take place on December 23rd. On 13th December, the Auction list for all the players was released by the Indian Cricket Board, secretary Jay Shah.

A total of 405 cricketers are set to go under the hammer on December 23rd in Kochi. 369 players were earlier shortlisted from 991 players, but later on, the franchises requested additional 36 players which were added to the list, taking the number to 405.

Out of 405 players, 273 are Indian whereas 132 are overseas players. Four of the 405 players are from associate nations. The list is further broken into 119 capped and 282 uncapped players of which 4 are from associate nations.

87 slots are available to be filled at the mini-auction of which 30 could be used for overseas players. The highest bracket at the mini-auction will be INR 2 Crore. 19 overseas players have chosen to be slotted into the top bracket.

The next bracket i.e., the INR 1.5 Core features 11 players in total. The third bracket has a financial ceiling of INR 1 Crore. This bracket has 20 players which feature Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal.

The schedule for this year’s Indian T20 League is yet to be announced. Last season two new teams Gujarat and Lucknow were introduced into the league. The Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat side won the league defeating Rajasthan in the final.
