Indian Cricket Board production teams wears black armbands after the demise of senior cameraman
Kamalanadimuthu Thiruvalluvan, who is often known as Thiru, was the senior cameraman for the Indian Cricket Board died on February 23 in Bengaluru. According to sources, he was in command of Camera 5 on the first day of the Women’s Premier League 2024 and worked only throughout the match between the Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. The Indian Cricket Board has not revealed the reason for death and has sent condolences to his family.
Meanwhile, the production team in Ranchi, where India is now hosting England for the fourth Test, were spotted donning black armbands in tribute to Thiru. The Indian Cricket Board published the footage on their social media platforms, and supporters joined in to show their respects.
“The Indian Cricket Board production crew wore black armbands in memory of Thiru who passed away yesterday. Our heart goes out to his near and dear ones and the Indian Cricket Board offers its condolences to his family,” Indian Cricket Board mentioned.
