In the longer white-ball format, Shikhar Dhawan has been quite impressive with the bat. The Delhi-born cricketer has been out of the scheme of things from the T20I format and the Test format, which has allowed him to focus solely on the ODI format.
Dhawan is the seniormost player in this squad and will have a huge responsibility to get good results apart from leading the team. He performed admirably in recent series against England and the West Indies, and he will want to do so again against Zimbabwe.
