Deepak Chahar has been aiming for a return to the Indian team for quite some time. During West Indie’s February tour to India, the 30-year-old sustained an injury. He suffered another injury in his back while rehabilitating at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
As a result, he had to miss out on the 2022 season of the Indian T20 League as well. He was Chennai’s most expensive player this season, and they would have missed his services a lot. He would make a strong comeback to the Indian team in the Zimbabwe series.
