Famous cricketers wished nation on the 77th Independence Day

It is the 77th Independence Day of India. On this day in 1947, India became free from the British rule. As everyone in the nation is celebrating the day, the cricket fraternity has also wished everyone in the nation on the occasion. Some of the famous cricketers like Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, and many others wished the nation.  

Former Indian cricketer wrote “Respect our National Flag not only today but every day. Request you to not throw away the flags anywhere after celebrations. Jai Hind Happy #IndependenceDay2023” on Twitter. The Indian great Sachin Tendulkar wished “I love my India सभी भारतीयों को मेरी ओर से स्वतंत्रता दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं। Wishing all my fellow Indians across the world a very happy Independence Day. जय हिंद #IndependenceDay” to the Indians.  

Former World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh posted a video and wrote “May our tricolor forever fly high, respecting and remembering the sacrifices of all those who fought for our Independence Jai Hind! #HappyIndependenceDay” on Twitter. Former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha wrote “विजयी विश्व तिरंगा प्यारा, झण्डा ऊँचा रहे हमारा #HappyIndependenceDay #JaiHind” on his Twitter.
