‘I hit a jackpot’- Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika Sajdeh celebrate 7th marriage anniversary with 7 romantic pictures

Team India skipper Rohit Sharma is celebrating his 7th wedding anniversary with his wife Ritika Sajdeh on Tuesday, 13th December. On the day of the special occasion, Sharma posted a romantic Instagram post celebrating seven years of togetherness.

Sharma posted 7 pictures with his wife symbolically for 7 years of their marriage and wrote a cute caption as well. The post that currently has close to 800k likes has the caption, “I hit a jackpot.”

Ritika Sajdeh had also shared 7 pictures with a lovely caption earlier in the day. Sajdeh however was more explanatory with her caption as she wrote, “Happy 7 baby ♥️ Here’s to a lifetime of laughing, making fun of each other, finding tv shows to watch together, figuring out this whole parenting thing together, and riding the waves both literally and figuratively together ♥️.”

Rohit Sharma and Ritika’s love story began when they met as professionals. Ritika was Yuvraj Singh’s rakhi sister and had met Rohit at an ad shoot. The two then got to know each other and became close. Ritika then worked as Rohit’s manager given her qualification as a sports event manager. The two then fell in love and tied the knot on 13th December 2015. The two have a baby daughter from the marriage whose name is Samaira Sharma.

Rohit Sharma’s injury update

Sharma is currently out with a thumb injury that he sustained in the 3rd ODI against Bangladesh. Following the injury, he has been ruled out from the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The latest update from Indian Cricket Board reads,

“Rohit Sharma met with a specialist in Mumbai for his left thumb injury. He has been advised appropriate management for this injury and will not be available for the first Test against Bangladesh.”

“The BCCI Medical Team will take a call on his availability for the second and final Test at a later stage,” the update added. India and Bangladesh are slated to clash in a 2-match Test series on December 14th. India has earlier lost the ODI series by 2-1.
