‘I have thick thighs’ – Mrunal Thakur reveals shocking details on how a filmmaker rejected her saying she isn’t sexy enough!
Actress Mrunal Thakur has been making waves with her performances. Most recently, she starred with Natural star Nani in the movie Hi Nanna’, where Mrunal was amazing and brilliant. One of the most gifted women in the community is Mrunal, who began her acting career on television. However, she had to overcome numerous rejections in order to establish her value and become well-known.
However, there was a period when Mrunal faced criticism for her appearance and physique, something the actress was unprepared for, but strengthened her. The ‘Hi Nanna’ actress recently disclosed in an interview that she was turned down by a filmmaker because, in his opinion, she wasn’t attractive enough for a role. Mrunal said she remained composed, didn’t respond impulsively to the criticism, and urged the director to at least allow her to do a look test. She later said that the director had visited her and expressed regret.

The actress confessed, “I have immense faith in my team because they transform me. Praising them for their transformation. Being impartial is crucial for me as an actor because it will allow the surrounding filmmakers to shape me into their vision.”
Mrunal Thakur has been vocal about the unfair treatment of actresses in the industry. She even mentioned that she is constantly asked to change or rather transform her body in order to fit in. Mrunal also mentioned that she was told not to perform a song because it would require her to lose weight around her thighs, which she questioned. She further revealed, “I said, ‘Listen, I own my thick thighs and I’m so comfortable with them. Why do you feel uncomfortable if I’m not?'”
Mrunal has shown her talent as an actress in the south, where she has won accolades for her work from Sita Ramam to Hi Nana, but she hasn’t yet made it big in Bollywood. The actress has a huge fan following on social media.
