Harry Brook has taken the cricketing world by storm with his batting ever since he has made his debut across all formats for England. In the six Test matches that he has played, he has scored 807 runs at an average of 100.87 and at a strike rate of 99.38.

In the two Test match series against England, he has scored 89 off 81 balls in the first innings with 15 fours and one six. In the second innings, he scored 54 off 41 balls with seven fours and two sixes. He had a wonderful Test debut series against Pakistan and was the Player of the Series as well.

Shortly after that, he made the world take notice of his batting. He got picked in the Indian T20 League by Hyderabad for INR 13.25 crores.

Former England captain, Michael Vaughan, recently, made a comment on Brook.

“For the last 10 years, all kids have wanted to bat and be like Joe Root .. For the next 10 years they will all want to bat like Harry Brook.” He said.

Vaughan’s comments on cricket often take the internet by storm and it leads to a lot of discussion among the fans. Joe Root was England’s premier batter when he made his Test debut in 2011 against India.

Now Brook is stealing the limelight from him as England’s best batter. Brook has also proven his worth in the T20I format as he has scored 372 runs in the shortest format of the game in just twenty matches. In the first innings of the second Test, he did even better as he scored an unbeaten 184 off 169 with 24 fours and five sixes at the end of day 1.

England have won the two match Test series 1-0 and will look for a 2-0 clean sweep over New Zealand. England ended Day 1 on 315-3 after being in trouble early at 21-3. Joe Root was also unbeaten on 101 off 182 balls with seven fours.

England have reformed their Test cricket with the emergence of Bazball. They play Test Cricket like one-day cricket now-a-days. Let us take a look at the reactions on Twitter-
