With Women's IPL finally becoming a reality and seeing all the buzz around – it makes me emotional & reminds me of this day back in April 2017.

A record breaking start for the Women's Premier League. Right now, it's more because of the success of the IPL. A title winning campaign in the World Cup will definitely drive it further 🤞🤞🏆🏆🇮🇳🇮🇳#WPL #WIPL #SportsYaari

Fantastic I think. While it rhymes with the IPL, it still gives the women’s game space for its own identity..! 💁🏼♀️ https://t.co/OpjcNmrpJD

Been thinking about the bids for teams in the Women’s IPL. Would love for teams acquired that are focused on driving developmental infrastructure for women’s cricket & mental well-being/support of players given the humongous transition. Not just the highest bidder 🙏🙌❤️
