Cricket, which is the second most popular sport in the world, is different from Football in many aspects. One major differentiating factor is the nuances of different pitches and grounds. In football, a lot of emphasis is laid on keeping every ground the same. In cricket, however, it is the difference in grounds and pitches that makes it interesting to a whole another level.

SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia) countries for example are known to have bouncy and swing-favoring pitches. They are often called ‘Bowler’s paradise’ for that very reason. Many pacers have wreaked havoc on batters on these grounds throughout the years. Naturally, batters who do well on SENA grounds are considered to be a cut above the rest, due to the sheer amount of expertise required to do well here.

This list will show the four batters who have done incredibly well on difficult SENA wickets and have come up with the best average.

1. Sachin Tendulkar- 51.30

The ‘God of cricket’ as he is referred to, Sachin Tendulkar still graces many batting records despite taking his retirement some eight years ago. His batting masterclass was often on display on SENA wickets where pacers were at their scary best.

On these difficult SENA wickets, the Master Blaster played 63 Tests and scored a humongous 5387 runs. His average of 51.30, in particular, was mightily impressive and to this day remains the highest by any Indian batter.
