The Men in Blue and Rajasthan Royals leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal  celebrated his birthday on Saturday, July 23. Chahal, who is considered one of the best spin bowlers in the world in the modern era, turned 32 on Saturday. The Haryana wrist spinner  is currently in the Caribbean to take part in the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. He will return home after the three ODIs as he has been rested for the T20Is.

As Chahal turned 32, wishes started pouring in from all corners. Choreographer and Chahal’s wife, Dhanashree Verma shared a heartfelt message for her husband on his special day.

“Life is just a journey but yet so beautiful in many ways. You’re a good man and may god always be kind. Happy birthday @yuzi_chahal23. Ps. I’m your biggest fan,” Dhanashree wrote.

Chahal has been one of the cornerstones of the Men in Blue spin attack. The man who is a professor in his craft has spun many a web around batters and outsmarted them on many occasions. The Willy wrist spinner has had a superb career so far and will look to continue to flourish as he goes forward.

His achievements in the Indian T20 League are also unapparelled. Chahal has bowled many beautiful spells for the Bangalore side when he was with them and when he played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. At that small ground , Chahal has always been one step ahead and held his own.

Chahal’s Indian and former Bangalore  teammate and captain Virat Kohli  too took to his Instagram to wish him his best on the wrist spinners’ big day.

“Happy birthday spin wizard. Good health, happiness and lots of success to you,” Kohli wrote.

Left-arm wrist-spinner, Kuldeep Yadav, Chahal’s partner-in-crime, wished the “prankster and an absolute gem of a person”, while former India batter Suresh Raina too had a special message for the wrist spinner while hoping that he achieves even greater milestones.
